Friday At Leisure
We shopped at The Docks a.m. and then forced a roast lamb dinner down before retiring to the (now sunny) back garden. Tim T picked Jerry up for an after-work climb looking out over a hazy valley before an evening under the stars round the chiminea.

We're Lugging It
With the early mist burning off quickly, we fitted in a sunbathe while Tim pumped his ride ahead of a charge down the awesome Lugg. The leaves just in bud and catkins dipping to the surface, we were warmed by full sun all day, which kept Tim toasty after numerous underwater moments. We met up with the girls for second lunch (having polished off Tim's sandwiches earlier) and then pushed on to the confluence with The Wye for extra-time standing wave action. Our favorite river run delivered a superb day's paddling. More at Flying Turtinos Blog.

Wye We Like Water
Another very fine weekend allowed a first river run South from Hereford, discovering the delights of 'standing waves'. The usual quota of swans and kingfishers added interest on a magnificent paddle. In the evening we viewed the wonders of the universe through the telescopes on site, including cigar and spiral galaxies, Jupiter, Venus and assorted star clusters.

Luke & Lauren's Wedding
Luke and Lauren had a beautiful wedding at St Aldates in Oxford, which tripled as the venue for the ceremony, reception and evening party. The skies cleared for the photos too.

Sea Mist and Surf
The coast remained cloaked in mist all day, despite it being 17 degrees and sunny just a mile inland!
Quantocks
On a fine Saturday we walked up to 'The Seven Sisters' to enjoy great 360 degree views.
We were even quiet enough to see some camera-shy deer in the woods.

Stroudwater Canal & Selsey
With the intention of reconnaissance of the available paddle-able waterways in the Stroud Valley, we meandered between the canal and the River Frome Westwards. After various short scenic stretches we headed South and up to the hills above Woodchester to pick up the ridge back to Selsey Common where the artist-in-residence captured the moment under shouting skylarks and silent gliders. Claire met up with Cathy for more girlie pursuits. Moving Images.
